This homeowner in Media, PA came to us in need of guidance as he was looking to create a better environment for his personal spaces.
A single dad of three, this client was trying to navigate the design of his bedroom and primary bath all by himself and was overwhelmed and lacking in direction.
He came to us to help offer guidance and provide a much-needed renovation. The bathroom hadn’t been updated in many years and was still in its original condition.
He wanted a modern bedroom and bath space that felt more reflective of him and the lifestyle he lived. He wanted the aesthetic of this modern bathroom to reflect his unique masculine tastes as well as provide a private, serene place to recharge and renew each day.
One of the significant transformations took place in the bathroom. Recognizing the importance of a functional bathing experience, we reimagined the layout and optimized the use of space. By enlarging the shower area, we created a generous enclosure with frameless glass panels and modern fixtures, allowing for more sunlight during the showering experience.
We also introduced an additional sink and a longer vanity to accommodate the storage needed and any additional guest. This practical addition not only enhanced functionality but allowed us the opportunity to add two recessed medicine cabinets for discrete storage and elevated the overall aesthetic. We opted for a wall-mounted vanity, freeing up floor space and giving the bathroom an overall larger feel.

In the bedroom, we decided on a complete overhaul. The highlight of the revamped modern bedroom was a stunning modern Millwork feature wall. This meticulously crafted wall not only served as a backdrop for the bed but also added depth and character to the room. We carefully selected furniture pieces that blended modern design with masculine undertones, combining sleek lines with rich textures. Thoughtfully chosen accessories, such as artwork and decorative accents, added the final touches to the space, creating an atmosphere of masculine refinement in this modern bedroom.
